RSAA Time Assignment Committee

The RSAA Time Assignment Committee (TAC) meets quarterly to consider applications for use of RSAA telescopes and instruments. The links at the left will take you to the current telescope schedules as well as policies and guidelines for applying for time and usage of RSAA telescopes.

1 February 2008:

The 40-inch telescope is no longer available for scheduling.
Proposals for use of the 2.3m telescope will only be considered if the PI is from the ANU or from another institution that contributes financially or has recently contributed financially and directly to the building and/or operations of the 2.3m telescope and its commissioned instruments. These institutions include those that collaborated on the successful ARC LIEF bid to fund the Blue Arm of the WiFeS spectrograph. All such proposals will be judged on their scientific merit alone. These policies will be reviewed at the end of 2008.
